Tang Juey Lee 陈锐利 is a Malaysian (1953 - 2018) but is known as "Singapore's Orchid Artist" because of his penchant for painting Singapore's national flower. Born in Johor Bahru, Tang began painting in 1974, when he came to Singapore to study painting at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts under the mentorship of esteemed artists Georgette Chen and See Hiang To. Tang often pairs his orchids with birds, a continuation of his East and West blend, where the flower-bird genre often seen in Chinese paintings is combined with Western realism.

Tang's artworks have been collected by Britain's Queen Elizabeth II, and institutions such as the Singapore National Museum, Singapore Changi Airport as well as the Royal Collection of Saudi Arabia, among others.
