Artist Statement: This painting was born from my time in Bhutan, where the stillness of Phobjikha Valley left a lasting imprint on my spirit. I remember standing in that quiet expanse - surrounded by mountains, forest, and sky - feeling something shift inside me. The cranes had already passed through, but their presence lingered in the air, like a blessing.

Crane’s Passage – The Path to Joy is my way of honoring that moment. The winding path reflects both the valley’s terrain and my own emotional journey - toward light, clarity, and a kind of happiness that feels rooted and real. The brushstrokes carry the mysticism of the place, the softness of its light, and the quiet grace that held me there.

I hope this piece offers others a sense of peace and possibility - a reminder that joy often arrives not in grand gestures, but in gentle passages.


慈善艺展 - 携手支持总统挑战 2026
TOGETHER - Art Exhibition in support of the President’s Challenge 2026

This is the third edition of the largest fund-raising exhibition by Singaporean artists for beneficiaries supported by the President's Challenge (PC). President's Challenge 2026 will support 121 programmes across 60 organisations to drive sustained social upliftment in Singapore.

50% of all sales proceeds will be donated to the President's Challenge; tax deductions will be available where applicable. Donors will be invited to the "Donor Appreciation Ceremony" to receive a certificate of appreciation from the Guest-of-Honour.
