Artist Statement: The rising of the sun is the beginning of a new day. Every time I run across Singapore Botanic Gardens, I see the sun shining on the buildings, trees and flowers. The golden colour on the grass is so enchanting. It is like the beginning of life. This scene inspired me to create this artwork. In this painting, I used varying heights and uneven shapes to create its effect, and bright colours to attract more people’s attention. This is a unique piece of work.

TOGETHER - Art Exhibition in support of the President’s Challenge 2026

This is the third edition of the largest fund-raising exhibition by Singaporean artists for beneficiaries supported by the President's Challenge (PC). President's Challenge 2026 will support 121 programmes across 60 organisations to drive sustained social upliftment in Singapore.

50% of all sales proceeds will be donated to the President's Challenge; tax deductions will be available where applicable. Donors will be invited to the "Donor Appreciation Ceremony" to receive a certificate of appreciation from the Guest-of-Honour.
