In this dreamy watercolour painting, local artist Hoi Sow Cheng 许秀清 brings to life the architecture of the iconic Sultan Mosque against a vibrant background with soft hues.

Hoi Sow Cheng 许秀清 is a graduate of Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in painting. She studied Chinese painting under the tutelage of Mr Chen Wen-Hsi. She also studied Chinese calligraphy under Mr Lee Kim Guan. Hoi later joined the Ministry of Education and created teaching content for computer animation, design and drawing. She started watercolour painting in 2015 and has since been doing outdoor painting. Hoi actively participates in local art exhibitions and is a member of the Society of Chinese Artists and Singapore Watercolour Society.
