Artist Statement: At first glance, we see a towering blue mountain rising above calm waters—strong, beautiful, and seemingly complete. But this painting invites us to look deeper.

Below the surface lies a vast hidden world, darker and larger than what is visible. Like an iceberg, most of its presence remains unseen.
The deep blues suggest emotions, experiences, and struggles that are often concealed beneath outward appearances.

At the center blooms a golden lotus, a symbol of resilience, growth, and enlightenment. It reminds us that even in the deepest waters and darkest moments, beauty and strength can emerge.

This painting is a reflection of the human journey: what others see is only a fraction of who we are. Beneath the surface lies our true depth, and within that depth, the potential to bloom.


慈善艺展 - 携手支持总统挑战 2026
TOGETHER - Art Exhibition in support of the President’s Challenge 2026

This is the third edition of the largest fund-raising exhibition by Singaporean artists for beneficiaries supported by the President's Challenge (PC). President's Challenge 2026 will support 121 programmes across 60 organisations to drive sustained social upliftment in Singapore.

50% of all sales proceeds will be donated to the President's Challenge; tax deductions will be available where applicable. Donors will be invited to the "Donor Appreciation Ceremony" to receive a certificate of appreciation from the Guest-of-Honour.
